For the final round of the Club Championships for 2020 we saw much of the same weather we have experienced in the past 3 weeks with tough playing conditions and high winds. With the course in great condition and some tough pin positions set up for the finalists, competitors were always going to have to bring their A game in order to be crowned Club Champions.
Settlers Run Golf and Country club would like to congratulate all participants who competed over the past three weeks in the Club Championships and would like to give a huge well done to all members who battled their way to the finals.
We would also like to acknowledge and thank the volunteers for all their efforts and early morning wake ups to get groups started on tees, for keeping the pace of play up and for marshalling groups in the knockout match play rounds. Thank you to Scott Hardy, Syd Pomphrey, Leonie Mahon, John Reeves, Heidi Haringcaspel, Craig Bell, Matt Marsh, Neil Aubert and Steven Nicholls. Your efforts have been greatly appreciated.
