Lachlan Kenny – Golf Operations Manager

PGA Accredited Member

Lachlan grew up in sunny Queensland before moving down to Melbourne to chase his dreams of playing professional golf. After spending a few years playing in the elite amateur circles, he then decided to join the professional ranks and start his PGA Traineeship. Upon doing so, he had the opportunity of completing his training at the world renowned Kingston Heath Golf Club, focusing his skills on coaching, business and golf management. Lachlan still loves playing competitive golf and currently plays off a plus handicap!

Lachlan’s golfing achievements include multiple PGA Trainee professional wins and has a personal best score of 7 under par.

Ryan McCarthy – Teaching Professional

PGA Accredited Member

Ryan had a stellar Amateur career which included representing Australia both home and abroad. His highest achievement being ranked the number 1 amateur in Australia, and 12th ranked amateur in the world. Ryan joined the PGA Tour of Australasia in 2012 and successfully gained a tour card which kicked off his professional playing career. Over the past 9 years Ryan held tour cards on the Asian Tour, PGA Tour Latino America, and the European Tour. His proudest achievement as a professional was competing in the 2017 Open Championship at Royal Birkdale!

Ryan completed his PGA of Australia studies while continuing to compete on the PGA Tour of Australasia, with his attention now firmly focussed on helping all levels of golfer improve their game.

Ryan’s favourite golfer is Seve Ballesteros.

Lachlan Armour

3rd Year PGA Associate

Lachlan is currently completing his third and final as an Associate Professional and has worked at the club for 4 years. Lachlan started playing golf at a young age, beginning to play junior comps at 5 and representing Victoria in the 12 and Under State Team. Whilst continuing to develop his golf in State Squads he also played Division 1 Pennant for Victoria Golf Club for 5 years. Before beginning his Traineeship, Lachlan continued to play Amateur events including several events across the UK. Lachlan is looking to advance his knowledge and skills in coaching and looks to further his golf at Tour School once completing his traineeship.

Jack Harrison

1st Year PGA Associate

Jack is a 1st year PGA associate, (formerly known as a trainee) and has grown up playing golf at Settlers Run for 8 years now. Jack attended Rowville Sports Academy from years 9 – 10 of high school where he balanced studies and playing in elite amateur events. Jack was selected to represent Victoria in the colts state team at age 17, where he competed with 5 other Victorian’s at the interstate series in the Gold Coast in 2019. Since then, Jack has represented The National Golf Club in division 1 pennant where he obtained a scholarship for 3 years. Jack has set his goals around playing professional golf once he completes his training as a PGA associate, in the meantime Jack will endeavour to pass all of his playing and academic requirements.
